Schedule Source Data Imports
One of our most highly requested features, Scheduled imports is here! Keeping your source data in sync with Cube has never been easier. With Scheduled Imports you can proactively plan your imports and have Cube take care of the rest.
Watch this short video to see how it works and see how you can start automating your imports!
What else is new?
Here's what else has changed recently.
Data imports
Additional Top Level Dimension Options
We have added support for two additional Top Level Dimenions (TLDs) from specific source systems:
-
“Employee” TLD support has been added for Netsuite
-
“Item” TLD support has been added for Sage Intacct
Contact your Customer Success Manager if you have relevant data from your source systems you would like to connect to Cube.
Increased flat file size for Netsuite Transaction Uploads
If you manually upload Netsuite Transactions into Cube, the max file size for these uploads has increased from 200MB to 400MB. If you historically needed to pull shorter time-bound searches from Netsuite (e.g., six months, two months, etc.), you may be able to increase this time window and still end up with a transaction file that will be accepted on import.
Consult with your Customer Success Manager if you think this optimization may apply to you.
Support for Transaction Level Memos from Sage Intacct
The Sage Intacct Importer now supports importing Transaction level memo data along with the rest of the transaction. This allows for additional context on each transaction when performing drilldowns on data in Cube.
If you are an existing Sage Intacct customer, you may be contacted about upgrading your Importer to benefit from this and other enhancements. If you need immediate access to this memo data, please inform your Customer Success Manager, and we’ll expedite your upgrade process.
Spreadsheet Add-on
Drilldown and analyze your data more easily
It's now easier than ever before to access your Drilldown data and analyze the results with these Drilldown enhancements.
Find your Drilldown sheet quickly. Drilldown sheets are now created next to the source sheet instead of at the end of the workbook. Each sheet has an intuitive name telling you where the data came from so you can easily recognize the Drilldown sheet and distinguish it from other Drilldown data.
Example of a Drilldown sheet name
Save time and effort by applying filters and excluding zeros automatically. Filters are now automatically applied to Drilldown data. You no longer have to apply them for each result set manually.
Spreadsheet filters auto-applied to Drilldown data
You can exclude zeros from Drilldown results when you don't need to see them. Simply enable the Exclude zero rows from results option before clicking Drilldown for a zero-free result set.

Re-fetch retirement
The Re-fetch feature previously available in the Add-on mini-audit trail has been retired to enable future enhancements to the Add-on Fetch functionality. Don’t worry! You can still re-fetch a failed range after addressing the cause of the failure. Simply use the Fetch button from the Build area of the Add-on to try Fetching again.
