Cube supports several file transfer and storage methods for importing CSV or Text files, allowing you to use additional data in Cube that might not be available through a direct connection. Some of these methods use Amazon (AWS) S3, SFTP, or Azure for file storage.
Cube-hosted file management
You may choose to store your files in a Cube-hosted file management tool. When your connection is set up this way, your connection name will be "Cube-Hosted File Management," and you will be able to view and manage your files from your Source Data page.
The files may be programmatically placed here (which means they may be exported directly from your source system or your team writes a script to load them in), or you can manually upload files right in Cube. Either way, you can view them, upload new files, or run an import from your Source Data page.
Currently using an FTP system to manage this? You can now perform file management tasks directly from Cube without a third-party system.
The type of connection used, SFTP or S3, is generally determined by the source system and the available methods for connecting that source system to Cube.

Externally-hosted file management
If your files are stored in your own file management tool, you'll view and manage the files through your system. You can view your connection and run an import from the Source Data page in Cube.
