This article guides you through managing Cube Workflows the bulk editor to add new tasks or modify existing ones across your entire Workflow. You will learn how to streamline your finance processes by managing hundreds of tasks simultaneously.
Business Use Case
FP&A professionals can save hours of manual setup during monthly closes or re-forecasting cycles. High-volume finance processes, such as monthly close or board prep, often require coordinating many tasks at once. Bulk editing allows you to update owners, dates, and instructions in seconds rather than one by one, ensuring your project remains on schedule.
Prerequisites
Manage Workflow permission.
Step-by-Step Guide
Open the Bulk Editor. Within your workflow, select the Bulk Actions button and choose Edit tasks in bulk.
Manage Your Tasks. Use the grid to modify existing task details directly. You can also add new tasks by entering information into the empty rows at the bottom of the list. This unified view allows you to add and update tasks simultaneously.
Apply Bulk Transformations. To update many rows at once, use the Transform bar located above the grid. Enter instructions such as

Import External Lists. If you have a task list prepared outside of Cube, select the Upload Tasks option. You may download the current task list or a blank template by clicking the Download Task List button to ensure your data is formatted correctly. Once your file is ready, upload it to populate the grid.
Review and Submit. Once your updates are complete, review the grid for accuracy and click Submit. Your tasks will be saved in a draft state and will not be visible to assignees yet.
