Start a conversation with Cube for Slack (beta) to get quick answers about your forecasts, budgets, and variances directly from your financial data. Generate summaries, explore insights, and dig into the details in seconds.
Cube's Slack agentic AI is available to all customers, with usage limits. In the future, you can upgrade to unlock additional usage as needed.
Cube for Slack leverages AI to extract key data points from your analyses and to generate a summary based on the extracted information. AI can make mistakes. You should review any generated content before use.

Connect Cube for Slack to Cube
In Slack, you can reference data from one Cube at a time. Make sure you are in the Cube you want to connect, then:
- Click Cube for Slack in the navigation menu.
- Click Connect Slack.
- In the new window, click Allow to confirm app access to Cube’s Slack workspace.
Your Slack Workspace Owner may need to approve the Cube app before you can use it. Learn more here.
Add Cube to Slack
Click the button below to add Cube to Slack:
If the Cube app is already approved by your company, it will also be available in your apps when searching in Slack:
- In Slack, under Apps, click Add apps.
Don't see Add apps? Your Apps list may be collapsed; click the triangle icon to open the list.
- Search for Cube and select it.
Cube is set up and ready to assist. Click New Chat in the top right corner to begin asking questions.
Try asking questions like:
- How much of my marketing budget have I spent this quarter, and where are the biggest cost overruns?
- What’s our current cash runway, and how does it compare to last quarter?
- I need to exceed my budget for events by $200K, are there areas I am under plan I could pull from?
- How do different hiring scenarios affect the overall company P&L?
Switch to a different Cube
While in Slack, you can connect to one Cube at a time. If your organization has multiple Cubes, connect Slack to a different Cube by selecting the Cube from your dropdown list in the portal and repeating the steps above.
Add a shortcut to Cube in Slack
To keep your Cube at your fingertips, add it as a shortcut to the top right corner of your Slack.
1. Open Slack’s Settings.
2. Under Navigation, check the box for Cube to enable it to show in the top bar of your Slack.
Data access & security
Cube for Slack is only available to Cube users. Users can only access the data and dimensions through Cube for Slack allowed by their permissions in Cube.
