How to setup your Cube dashboard to give you a high-level view of your data
Dashboard Components
The dashboard page is made up of 6 different components
Filters
- This is a global filter that determines what data is shown in each of the graphs
- To update the account(s) shown in a graph, click on its filter icon
in the top-right corner of the component
Top Four Cards
Use these cards to quickly view key metrics that drive your business
Cube's recommended settings:
- Card 1: Revenue or Income
- Card 2: Operating Expenses
- Card 3: Accounts Receivable
- Card 4: Accounts Payable
Income VS Expenses
Use this bar graph to compare 2 different accounts across the year.
Note: While the graph is labelled "Income vs. Expense", you can compare any 2 accounts
Cube's recommended settings:
- Account 1: Revenue or Income
- Account 2: Operating Expenses
Cash on Hand
Use this line graph to see how an account's balance has changed over time.
Note: While the graph is labelled "Cash on Hand", you can compare any 2 accounts
Cube's recommended settings:
- Account: Cash
Scenario Comparison
Use this line graph to compare an account's performance across 2 scenarios
Cube's recommended settings:
- Scenario 1: Actuals
- Scenario 2: Budget
- Account: Gross Profit
Recent Changes
This shows you the 5 most recent actions, including the following:
- Source Data connection resync
- Source Data import
- Data published from spreadsheet
