Keep your user groups organized by deactivating any custom user types you no longer need. Deactivating a user type prevents it from being assigned to new users and removes its feature permissions from any currently assigned users.
We are currently rolling out this new feature. If you don't see User Management in your Cube navigation, you'll see these updates soon!
Default user types—Admin, Finance, and Business—can’t be deactivated. Learn more about default user types.
- In User Management, go to the User Types tab.
- Locate the user type you want to deactivate and click the Disable icon.
- Cube will ask you to review the list of users impacted by this change, including any users no longer assigned any active user types.
Users without an active user type will not have access to Cube until they are assigned an active user type.
- Confirm the changes to continue disabling this user type.
Disabled user types cannot be reenabled. Instead, create a new custom user type with the same settings.
