Remove outdated or unused data access groups to keep your permissions organized and up to date. Deactivating a data access group removes its dimension-level permissions from all assigned users and prevents its use in the future.
We are currently rolling out this new feature. If you don't see User Management in your Cube navigation, you'll see these updates soon!
You can only deactivate custom data access groups. Default groups like Full Access and Read All cannot be deactivated. Learn more about default data access groups.
- In User Management, go to the User Types tab
- Locate the data access group you want to deactivate and click the Disable Icon.
- Cube will ask you to confirm this change. Upon confirmation, the data access group will be disabled and removed from any assigned users.
Users without an active data access group can log into Cube but will not have access to data or dimensions, including those in shared dashboards or reports.
Disabled data access groups cannot be reenabled. Instead, create a new custom data access group with the same settings.
