Depending on how often you update your reports or check your financials, you'll need to update the source data in Cube with a similar frequency. This ensures you have the most accurate picture of your business performance.
You can also choose to schedule source system data imports or import data from a flat file (CSV or TXT file).
Steps to resync and import data to Cube
Navigate to the Source Data page from within your Web portal.
1. Click the Import Data next to the connection you’d like to update to open the import settings menu.
2. If prompted, click the Resync button at the top of your import drawer to re-authorize your connection. Cube will reconnect to your source system and let you know if any new dimensions need to be mapped before you can import.
When Cube is ready to accept data, you'll see a green notice that the resync was successful or an import menu without a resync prompt.
3. Select the Date Range, Scenario, and Defaults for your import.
4. Click the import data button, and you’re all set! You’ll receive an email when your import is complete (time varies based on the amount of data uploaded).
