Reinstall or update the Spreadsheet add-on

The Cube spreadsheet add-on will automatically update, but if you run into issues where the Spreadsheet add-on isn't loading or if you would like to ensure you're using the most current version, you can use the reinstall steps below. 

Microsoft Excel

• For Windows 
• For Mac

Note: Supported versions of Excel are the Consumer versions of Excel 2016 and beyond and O365.  The Commercial versions of Excel are not supported. Learn more about supported versions. 

Windows

Remove/Uninstall Cube from your Add-ins.

1. Click Insert from the top toolbar.
2. Select Add Ins then My Add Ins.
3. Hover over the Cube Spreadsheet add-on and click the three-dot menu that appears in the upper right.
4. Click Remove.

Re-install the Spreadsheet add-on.

1. Click the Office Store button that appears and search “Cube.”
2. Click Add next to the Cube Add On and Continue in the dialog that appears.

Mac

Remove/Uninstall Cube from your Add-ins.

1. Click Insert from the top toolbar.
2. Select Add Ins then My Add Ins.
3. Hover over Cube and click the three-dot menu in the upper-right-hand corner.
4. Click Remove and confirm by clicking Remove in the dialog that appears.

Re-install Cube.

1. Click the Microsoft AppSource button that appears. Search for “Cube.”
2. Install the Add-On by clicking Get it now and confirming through the dialog that appears.
3. Click the big Open in Excel button that appears.

• • You may see a warning about a file extension mismatch. Click OK.
  • You may also need to click Trust this Add In in the right-hand panel within Excel.

Google Sheets

1. From the top toolbar, select Extensions
2. Select Add-ons, then Manage Add-ons
3. Click the three-dot menu that appears in the upper right corner of the Cube option
4. Click Uninstall
   
   You've successfully uninstalled the Cube add-on and can begin to reinstall it
   
   
5. Click in the Search Apps field
6. Type Cube Planning into the field
7. Click on the Cube Add-On
8. Click on the Install button
9. Click on the Continue button to approve the installation
   
   You've successfully installed the Cube add-on and can begin to use it.
