Rename any custom dimension directly from the Dimensions page. The new name updates automatically across your Cube, including scheduled imports, Metabase, and all reports, Boards, and Dashboards.
Rename a dimension
- In the left navigation, select Dimensions under Modeling.
- Select the More menu (⋮) in the top right of the Dimensions page.
- Select Rename Dimension.
- From the Select Dimension dropdown, choose the dimension you want to rename.

Enter the new name in the New Name field.
- Select Save.
Note: Dimension member names don't update automatically when you rename a dimension. After saving, review your members and manually update any names that reference the old dimension name.
