The Cube spreadsheet App will automatically update, but if you run into issues where the Spreadsheet App isn't loading or if you would like to ensure you're using the most current version, you can use the reinstall steps below.
Microsoft Excel
Note: Supported versions of Excel are the Consumer versions of Excel 2016 and beyond and O365. The Commercial versions of Excel are not supported. Learn more about supported versions.
Windows
Remove/Uninstall Cube from your Excel Add-ins.
- Click Insert from the top toolbar.
- Select Add-Ins, then My Add-Ins.
- Hover over the Cube Spreadsheet App and click the three-dot menu that appears in the upper right.
- Click Remove.

Reinstall the Spreadsheet App.
- Click the Office Store button that appears and search for “Cube.”
- Click Add next to the Cube App and Continue in the dialog that appears.
Mac
Remove/Uninstall Cube from your Add-ins.
- Click Insert from the top toolbar.
- Select Add-ins, then My Add-ins.
- Hover over Cube and click the three-dot menu in the upper-right-hand corner.
- Click Remove and confirm by clicking Remove in the dialog that appears.

Reinstall Cube.
- Click the Microsoft AppSource button that appears. Search for “Cube.”
- Install the Cube App by clicking Get it now and confirming through the dialog that appears.
- Click the Open in Excel button that appears.

- You may see a warning about a file extension mismatch. Click OK.
- You may also need to click Trust this Add-In in the right-hand panel within Excel.
Google Sheets
- From the top toolbar, select Extensions
- Select Add-ons, then Manage Add-ons
- Click the three-dot menu that appears in the upper right corner of the Cube App
- Click Uninstall
You've successfully uninstalled the Cube App and can begin to reinstall it.
- Click in the Search Apps field
- Type Cube Planning into the field
- Click on the Cube App
- Click on the Install button
- Click on the Continue button to approve the installation
You've successfully installed the Cube App and can begin to use it.
