Issues with publishing data can spring up for various reasons. Below are the most common error messages when attempting to publish data and solutions to overcome them.
Error publishing data
This error appears when a publish is already in progress. This could be a publish you've initiated or one of your team members.
Cube will let you know when a data publish is in progress by adding a banner across the top of your Web portal.
To avoid seeing this error message, wait until the banner in the Web portal has been removed and the publish in-progress is complete.
No data for publishing
This issue can occur when the sheet has become disconnected from Cube, and Cube can no longer find writeable cells in the range.
In order to resolve this, recreate your sheet and range in a new tab with the same cells and then attempt to publish again.
Unpublishable dimensions
Dimensions that are parents, tags, formulas, or those with write protection cannot be published to.
This error message will outline which dimensions must be updated in your range to publish successfully. We also recommend checking your range's filters, sometimes this error can occur when the wrong filters have been applied.
